Indulge a Little

Black bean brownies are a delicious, guilt-free indulgence. They contain no sugar or flour, but they are yummy especially when topped with strawberries.

Food Prep

We try to prep at least three days of food on Sundays. My food for the week is always the same--fruit for breakfast, salad with vinegar for lunch, and veggies in the afternoon. I will also have an apple and banana throughout the day. Prepping several days on Sunday makes it easier to eat nutritarian during the busy week.





Sunday Dinner

Black bean and sweet potato burger on whole wheat vegan rounds with jicama slaw.

Weekend Lunches

We used to go out to eat on the weekends. Now, we usually have smoothies for lunch on the weekends. We use frozen fruit to get the icy consistency we like without adding ice.

Today's smoothie was made with:
Frozen pineapple
Frozen mango
Fresh bananas
Fresh coconut water
Almond milk
Ground flax seed

It was delicious.
